to Holidays in Lagrasse, where we offer a warm welcome set within the historic village of Lagrasse. We have three properties all with character and charm; The Grenier Apartment, The Arch Apartment and The Garden Studio, all fully equipped and extremely comfortable.
Within our newly - and lovingly - renovated medieval house with its large garden including a pétanque area, solar heated swimming pool with decked area, a little piece of paradise can be found. Food & Wine
During loving renovation, the house unveiled many historic secrets dating from the 13th century. With 15 authentic hand carved stone arches scattered throughout the property and a large collection of 13th century paintings, believed to be of either a battle of the Cathars or a tournament (8 different family crests seen on the Chevaliers and horses), have recently been dated by the Bâtiment de France and found to be of great interest to the regions history as the house was the original Chapellenie (first Chaplaincy to the Abbey of Lagrasse). At present these paintings are with the Bâtiment being renovated to be placed in the regions museum and some in the house.
The rest to be told over a glass of wine………
